This section is dedicated to the runner - it is a comprehensive guide to help you prepare for the Flora London Marathon, covering health, nutrition, injury prevention and above all training. Whether you are a first-timer or a veteran marathoner, the first training pages, posted in August 2003, will guide you through the early days and provide a schedule to follow week by week. The final instructions, posted early next spring, just before the Race, cover the procedure each participant will need to follow - from picking up their running number to getting to the start line.
